Praise for selections from the murder book

This first tiny gem from Tree Light Books is one of the best chapbooks (maybe the best) I’ve encountered all year.

Slaviero delights in clichés of the genre and manipulates them and writes delightfully about the subject. The poems have lines that stop the reader, shock and drama in their core.

“The Monster: Classifications and Explanations” won a Pushcart Prize and was reprinted in Pushcart Prize XXVIII Best of the Small Presses.
